This temple was built for the needs of Hindus living in Bandar Abbas, from 1300 to 1344 AD, which is one of the most important cultural and artistic links between Iran and India. Hindu followers of the Bahrami school (those who believe in the gods of Brahma, Vishnu and Tesaywa) and the temple, according to research, belong to the Vishnu gods.
